Tom B. Dent, Chairman of the Board
Dent is a 30-year veteran in the software industry, leading venture-backed companies (Welsch, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, Summit Partners, Battery Ventures, Draper Fisher Jurvetson and others) providing applications and software development solutions to financial services, telecommunications, and aerospace and defense markets worldwide. Formerly CEO of Quality Systems & Software (QSS), he grew revenues five-fold to $45.0m and the company achieved a dominant market position in three years.  An international software development tools company acquired QSS in 2000.  Dent joined Lumeta Corporation in May 2001.

Ross H. Goldstein
Ross H. Goldstein is a managing partner and co-founder of Draper Fisher Jurvetson Gotham Ventures based in New York City. Prior to DFJ Gotham Ventures, Goldstein was executive vice president and chief financial officer of Interactive Imaginations, Inc., one of the East Coast’s first Internet companies, and the predecessor company to 24/7 Media, Inc. Goldstein helped manage Interactive Imaginations through the challenges of the early Internet industry and eventually toward its successful merger and IPO as 24/7 Media. Prior to joining Interactive Imaginations, Goldstein was with Morgan Stanley for 13 years, where he had most recently been a senior banker responsible for equity financings for the firm’s technology, telecommunications and media clients such as Netscape, America Online, Silicon Graphics and Applied Materials.

Goldstein serves on the Board of Directors of Mimeo.com and TexTrade.com, both DFJ Gotham portfolio companies. He also serves on the Board of Directors of New York Cares, a nonprofit volunteer service organization based in New York City. Goldstein received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics Economics, magna cum laude, from Brown University and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Frank Pinto
Frank Pinto, an experienced executive with a strong background in the analysis and deployment of resources, sales strategies, global accounts and marketing, recently retired from Sun Microsystems. He was vice president of computer systems worldwide sales responsible for all sales, systems engineering and field marketing activities of an 8,000-person organization. During his tenure as the head of sales in the Americas and then worldwide, Sun experienced its greatest growth rates since the early 1980's.

Prior to joining Sun, Pinto was vice president of marketing at Encore Computer, a manufacturer of symmetric multiprocessing systems and for over seven years held a series of field sales management and marketing director positions at Data General Corporation. These assignments included product marketing director in the information systems division of commercial products and division director of marketing support.

Pinto spent most of the 1970's in sales and sales management at Keydata Corporation, a pioneer in online, real-time commerical time-sharing systems. He began his computer industry career as a marketing representative for the IBM Service Bureau Corp in 1969. Prior to IBM, he was a financial analyst, with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Iona College. He has done graduate work in Economics at the University of Southern California under a National Science Foundation Fellowship.

Scot Sedlacek
Scot Sedlacek is a veteran of the technology finance and investment banking world with more than 25 years of industry experience. Sedlacek was a managing director with Jefferies & Company's Technology Investment Banking Group, Jefferies Broadview (JBV), one of the largest banking teams dedicated to information technology, communications, and digital media businesses. At JBV, Sedlacek formerly led the IT security team and specialized in providing merger and acquisition advisory services to enterprise software clients on more than 100 transactions blue chip technology companies and tier-one private equity firms. 

He previously served on the Board of Directors of Broadview International through its acquisition by Jefferies & Co. and was co-head of the firm's Software and Services global market group.  Sedlacek currently serves on the Strategic Advisory Board of Jefferson Partners, a Toronto-based venture capital firm focused on technology investing, and Security Growth Partners, an investment firm focused on early stage companies in the IT security sector.

Thomas M. Uhlman
Thomas M. Uhlman is a Managing Partner at New Venture Partners. He was President and Founder of the New Ventures Group at Lucent. He joined Lucent at its inception in 1996 as Senior Vice President for Corporate Strategy, Business Development and Public Affairs. In this role, he oversaw activities relating to acquisitions, new business creation, planning and government affairs. Previously, Mr. Ulhman was Vice President of Corporate Development for AT&T, after a 12-year stint with Hewlett-Packard. As Director of Corporate Development at HP, he was responsible for worldwide equity investments, strategic alliances, and strategic planning.
