The Post Sales Engineer (PSE) is responsible for leading the successful architecture and technical deployment and support of Lumeta product offerings within commercial enterprises and Federal organizations.  The candidate must currently possess a top-secret US Federal government (DoD/IC) clearance that is transferrable to Lumeta.

Position Description:

The Post Sales Engineer (PSE) must understand the technical and use-case implementations of Lumeta’s cyber situational awareness offerings including the architecture, deployment and configuration of Lumeta’s products and/or services to meet specific business needs and data-centric integrations with third-party security eco-systems offerings (EDR, HVA, SIEM, IPAM, UEBA, data lakes, etc.). The Post Sales Engineer must be comfortable architecting, and implementing Lumeta solutions working alongside various levels of IT security and networking teams and their executive management (i.e. CISO, VP and CIO), The Post Sales Engineer will also provide basic project management activities and technical training to clients, channel and technology partners and will interface with internal product teams to communicate customer feedback for future product enhancements.

  • BA/BS degree in an engineering, computer science, Information Technology, IT Security or related disciplines and a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Post-Sales, professional services technical experience with a networking, IT security, software or services company
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking (IPv4, IPv6), enterprise switching/routing and security (VPN, firewall, proxy) infrastructure, layered cybersecurity architectures and tools such as SIEM, EDR, host vulnerability assessment (HVA), cloud (AWS) and virtualization (VMware, KVM, HyperV) environments
  • Proficiency in:
    • Linux (general administration, file management, log gathering, scripting)
    • SQL query language (Postgresql or equivalent)
    • Data Analysis
  • Familiarity:
    • Shell/Perl scripting
    • PKI/Encryption
    • MS Excel (Data analysis/pivot tables)
    • Relational databases
  • Mandatory Requirements:
    • Current holder of a top-secret US Federal Government security clearance
    • Ability to travel up to 70%
    • Strong troubleshooting skills
    • Articulate communications skills
    • Able to work independently, from home office location

Highly desirable that the candidate have experience in deploying IT/security solutions into Federal government
