Solid Q106 Results Fuel Strategic Development, Continue Track Record of Year-over-Year Growth

Somerset, NJ- April 26, 2006 - Lumeta, the leading provider of network intelligence solutions for enterprises and government agencies, today announced that David Arbeitel has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO) & Senior Vice President, Product Strategy from his previous role of SVP, Strategic Development. The promotion comes at a time when Lumeta is making significant strides to expand its overall technology focus on a broader scale of initiatives that help drive critical business value such as compliance, IT optimization, and security risk management across the enterprise.

In his new role Arbeitel, who joined Lumeta in 2002, will be responsible for defining the next generation of Lumeta’s product suite and managing the strategic implementation of the company’s long-term technology strategy. In this capacity, he will continue to oversee product management and research & development resources to deliver on this strategic vision. Prior to joining Lumeta, Arbeitel served as Chief Technology Officer at ION Networks, a provider of secure network solutions for voice and data services. He also held similar positions at Visual Networks and was a co-founder and CTO at Avesta Technologies. Additionally, Arbeitel has held senior management and engineering positions with Morgan Stanley, Shearson Lehman Brothers, Amerada Hess and RCA-American Communications.

• Increased customer base by nearly 30% over Q105
• New customers included a global engineering corporation and key US Intelligence agency, as well as existing customers renewing and significantly expanding their commitment to Lumeta products with enterprise licenses.
• Personnel grew by nearly 50%, underscoring the company’s commitment to expand sales, marketing and development resources

In response to a heightened demand for professional services and substantial increase in employee headcount, the company has also appointed a new Vice President, Operations, Michael Markulec. Markulec brings a strong background in network design, business development and operational management to the role. A nearly 6-year veteran at Lumeta with extensive experience driving successful customer implementations, Markulec will align all customer-facing service, support and production resources under the newly created unified operations role.
