Tom B. Dent and Janet Coddington Named Finalists for Top Business Awards

Somerset, NJ- May 16, 2006 - Lumeta, the leading provider of network intelligence solutions for enterprises and government agencies, today announced that Chairman Tom B. Dent has been named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® award. The award honors entrepreneurs whose ingenuity, hard work and perseverance have created and sustained successful, growing business ventures. Dent was recognized for his outstanding leadership achievements while serving as CEO of Lumeta. During his four-year tenure, he oversaw the company’s strategic growth and widespread product innovation.

Dent was selected as a finalist by an independent judging panel composed of area business, academic, civic leaders as well as three award recipients representing the 2005 Entrepreneur Of The Year New Jersey program. Award winners will be announced at a special 20th anniversary gala event on June 22, 2006 at the Teaneck Marriott at Glenpointe in Teaneck, New Jersey. Winners of the New Jersey award will be eligible for the national Entrepreneur of the Year award, which will be announced at an annual conference held this November in Palm Springs, California.

Lumeta also announced today that its CFO, Janet Coddington, was named a finalist for the American Business Awards “Best Finance Executive” category. The American Business Awards, are the first national and all-encompassing business awards program honoring great performances in the workplace. A four-year veteran of Lumeta, Janet’s finance acumen and intuitive business sense has been instrumental in helping Lumeta achieve unprecedented sales growth, and in 2005 drove a dramatic reduction of the company’s global operating expenditures. Award winners will be announced at the gala awards dinner in New York on Monday, June 12, 2006.
