Industry Veteran Promoted to Direct the Delivery and Strategic Development of Lumeta’s Network Assurance Solutions
Somerset, NJ–August 24, 2007 - Lumeta, the leading provider of network
assurance solutions for enterprises and government agencies, today announced the appointment of Michael Markulec as Executive Vice President, Technology and Operations. Markulec is now responsible for leading the strategic development of Lumeta’s flagship network assurance solution IPsonar®. In this position Markulec is also responsible for managing the company’s domestic and international operations, including customer support and professional services. Previous to this promotion, Markulec was Lumeta’s Vice President, Operations.
Markulec has an extensive leadership background working with high-growth organizations and brings Lumeta more than 20 years of experience in network design, business development and operational management. Prior to joining Lumeta Markulec was the COO of nex-i.com, which was successfully acquired by Eureka Broadband. Markulec also held sales and operations positions with AT&T’s data network group, Niehoff of America, Pirelli Cable and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army. Markulec holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Norwich University and an MBA from Duke University.
