Lumeta Strengthens Management Team with New Executives and Promotions
Somerset, NJ –April 23, 2013 – Lumeta Corporation, the pioneer in network discovery, visualization and network leak detection solutions, announced today that two new executives have joined the management team at Lumeta. Kathy Kinnamon has joined as Chief Financial Officer and Melody Iffland has joined Lumeta as Vice President of Marketing. In addition, Matt Webster has been promoted to Vice President of Product Management and Michael Markulec has assumed the role as President and Chief Technology Officer.
- Kathy Kinnamon joins the company as CFO and comes from AEP Networks where she successfully completed the sale of AEP Networks to Ultra Electronics Holdings, Plc in September 2011. She brings more than 25 years diversified mergers & acquisitions, private and public market fundraising, financial, accounting and operational experience in growth-oriented, multi-national organizations to Lumeta.
- Melody Iffland joins the company as Vice President of Marketing. Melody returns to Lumeta from AEP Networks where she was the Vice President of Marketing and Solutions Development. Previously Melody served as Director of Marketing at Lumeta and has held senior marketing positions with Flarion Technologies and NCR.
- Matt Webster has been promoted from Director of Sales Engineering and Product Management at Lumeta to Vice President of Product Management. He is an active participant in the Trusted Computing Group where he Co-Chairs the Trusted Network Connect Adoption Work Group. Prior to Lumeta, Matt was Global Network Operations Director for AT&T, as well as Client Services Manager for BankOne (Chase).
- Michael Markulec will continue on as President at Lumeta and will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer. Michael is well known in the network security industry for his vision and is a sought after speaker and presenter on a variety of networking and security topics, most notably networking issues and mandates in the federal government, such as IPv6 transition and the Trusted Internet Connections initiative. Michael serves on the NJ Innovation Partnership Institute advisory board, which develops information technology curriculum for high schools and colleges.
